Dr. Sam Ghosh received his D.M.D. in 1993 from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he was awarded the prestigious International Dentist Award for academic and clinical excellence and graduated at the top of his class. He received his two-year doctoral graduate training in the specialty of orthodontics from the Eastman Dental Center at the University of Rochester, which is recognized as one of the top residency programs in the country. He established his practice in Pottsville in 1997.

Dr. Sam Ghosh is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and is extensively involved in furthering his knowledge by taking many hours of continuing education courses. Additional memberships and associations include the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Lehigh Valley Dental Society, the Lehigh Valley Society of Orthodontist, the Angle Orthodontic Society and the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association and past president of the Schuylkill County Dental Society.

Dr. Ghosh is actively involved in the community. He serves through the Rotary Club and the Dollars for Schuylkill Scholars, a non-profit local chapter dedicated to furthering the education of children in our area. He is also a member of the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce. Sam, his wife Zubeda and their three children, Alisha, Sabrina and Roy, reside in Orwigsburg.
